This fancy nicely decorated shop on Skólavörðustígur is probably not so much visited by the locals, but despite that it is a great destination for visitors to feast their eyes on some Icelandic designs.

If you are looking for a beautiful (and authentic) Icelandic wool sweater or blanket, this is the spot. Also great if you are looking to buy some yarn to bring back home. This association was formed by a group of local women in 1977 as a means to supplement their income.
