The National Museum of Iceland
The principal exhibition is conceived as a journey through time: it begins with the Viking ship in which medieval settlers crossed the ocean and moves on to modern times through texts, pictures and a vast collection of art and crafts, tools and furniture, religious artifacts and archeological remains.
